Swedish massage is a relaxing and therapeutic technique that uses flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and rhythmic movements to ease muscle tension and promote relaxation. It can help improve circulation, reduce everyday stress, and encourage a greater sense of well-being. Pressure can be customized to your comfort level, making Swedish massage a wonderful choice for both relaxation and overall body care.

New here?
Your first massage with us should feel easy. Here is everything you need to know before you arrive.
It gives you time to settle in and fill in a short health intake form.
Your therapist will ask about problem areas, injuries, and how you would like to feel afterwards.
You stay draped with a sheet throughout, and plenty of clients keep some clothing on.
Pressure, temperature, music: adjusting anything mid-session is normal and expected.
Take it easy for the rest of the day and stay hydrated to get the most from your massage.
Sessions start at $50 for 30 minutes, with 45, 60 and 90 minute sessions also available. Each therapist sets their own rate within a set range, so the exact price is shown on the treatment page and again before you confirm. There are no membership fees and no contract.
An appointment is much safer. We are a small studio and a therapist's day is usually booked out. You can reserve online in about a minute, up to 28 days ahead. If you are hoping for something today, call (801) 997-9694 and we will tell you what is genuinely open.
Swedish uses long, flowing strokes at lighter pressure, and is the better choice for general stress, circulation, and a first massage. Deep tissue uses slow, firm pressure to reach chronic tension in the deeper layers, and suits persistent back, neck, or shoulder pain. Unsure? Book 60 minutes and tell your therapist what hurts.
Undress only to the level you are comfortable with; plenty of clients keep their underwear on. You are draped with a sheet for the whole session, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Reflexology and shiatsu are done fully clothed if you would rather not undress at all.
Tipping is appreciated but never expected. If you would like to, 15 to 20 per cent is typical. You can add it from the link we send after your session, so there is no need to carry cash or decide on the spot.
For general relaxation and stress, once a month suits most people. For chronic pain, injury recovery, or heavy training, every two to three weeks is more effective. Your therapist will suggest a rhythm after your first session rather than selling you a package.
Very. Long descents load the quads, calves, and IT bands harder than most training does, and a deep tissue or sports session within a day or two helps clear that out and restore range of motion. Tell your therapist which trail you did; Angels Landing and the Narrows leave quite different soreness.
Yes. Every therapist working here holds a current Utah massage therapy license and carries their own professional insurance. They work under their own professional judgement and licensure, and you can see who you are booking with before you confirm.
Usually yes, from the second trimester onward, using prenatal massage: side-lying with bolsters supporting the belly, back, and knees rather than face-down on a table. Preeclampsia, high blood pressure, and a history of preterm labor all need clearance from your doctor or midwife first.
You will fill in a short health intake form, then talk through your goals and any problem areas with your therapist. You undress to your comfort level and stay draped throughout. Speak up at any point about pressure, temperature, or music; adjusting is normal and expected.
Fever, contagious illness, skin infections, blood clots, and recent surgery all mean waiting or getting a doctor's clearance first. Many other conditions simply change the approach rather than ruling it out, so disclose your full health history on the intake form and your therapist will adapt.
Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. Inside 48 hours the 25 per cent booking deposit is kept, because the time is held for you and rarely fills at short notice. You can move a booking yourself from the link in your confirmation email.
